Shadowflow - Studio Line 'By the Sea' Stoneware Reactive Glaze 550ml

Shadowflow is a dark, flowing Milton Bridge Studio Line 'By the Sea' reactive stoneware glaze, designed to create deep ocean colour, glossy depth and naturally varied kiln-fired effects. This reactive stoneware glaze develops shadowy blue-black tones with subtle movement, giving ceramic pieces a dramatic, tide-worn finish.

This glaze is perfect for potters wanting a rich, dark surface with an organic reactive character. Shadowflow works beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters, sculptural ceramics and textured stoneware, especially where edges, throwing lines or carved areas allow the glaze to break and pool.

• Colour & finish: Dark blue-black tones with glossy reactive flow and shadowed variation
• Firing range: Cone 4–9, approx. 1180–1280 °C
• Best for: Dramatic pottery, coastal ceramics, mugs, bowls, vases, planters and textured stoneware
• Application: Stir well, then apply 2–3 even coats by brush, sponge or stamp, allowing each coat to dry
• Food safety: Food safe when fired to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature

As with all reactive glazes, Shadowflow may vary depending on application thickness, clay body and firing schedule. Test first before larger batches and avoid heavy application near the foot of the piece.
