Sea Lavender - Studio Line 'By the Sea' Stoneware Reactive Glaze 550ml

Sea Lavender is a soft violet-blue Milton Bridge Studio Line 'By the Sea' reactive stoneware glaze, designed to create cool coastal colour, glossy depth and naturally varied fired results. This reactive stoneware glaze develops gentle lavender and sea-toned shades in the kiln, giving ceramic pieces a calm, atmospheric finish with subtle movement.

Inspired by shoreline flowers and misty sea light, this glaze is ideal for potters wanting a more unusual coastal shade with a soft, elegant feel. Sea Lavender works beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters and textured stoneware, especially where carved or uneven surfaces can show off its reactive character.

• Colour & finish: Lavender-blue tones with glossy reactive variation and soft movement
• Firing range: Cone 4–9, approx. 1180–1280 °C
• Best for: Coastal pottery, decorative ceramics, mugs, bowls, vases, planters and textured stoneware
• Application: Stir well, then apply 2–3 even coats by brush, sponge or stamp, allowing each coat to dry

As with all reactive glazes, fired results may vary according to clay body, glaze thickness and kiln conditions. Test first before larger batches, and avoid applying too heavily near the base of the piece where glaze movement could occur.
