Aqua Haze - Studio Line 'By the Sea' Stoneware Reactive Glaze 550ml

Aqua Haze is a cool blue-green Milton Bridge Studio Line 'By the Sea' reactive stoneware glaze, designed to create glossy ocean colour, soft movement and naturally varied fired effects. This reactive stoneware glaze develops misty aqua tones in the kiln, giving ceramic pieces a fresh coastal finish with subtle depth.

This glaze is ideal for pottery where you want a calm, watery surface with enough variation to keep the finished piece interesting. Aqua Haze works beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters and textured stoneware, especially where edges, ridges or carved details can catch the reactive finish.

• Colour & finish: Misty aqua blue-green with glossy reactive movement and tonal variation
• Firing range: Cone 4–9, approx. 1180–1280 °C
• Best for: Coastal ceramics, mugs, bowls, vases, planters, functional pottery and textured ware
• Application: Stir well, then apply 2–3 even coats by brush, sponge or stamp, allowing each coat to dry
• Food safety: Food safe when fired to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature

As with all reactive glazes, results may vary depending on clay body, glaze thickness and firing conditions. Avoid heavy application close to the base of the piece, particularly on vertical forms, and test first before using on larger batches
